System Engineering Development and Application

This paper introduces meta-synthetic methodology advanced by Qian Xuesen, which promotes system engineering to a new phase of complex giant system engineering and social system engineering. It also illustrates that Department of Integrative System Design is the kind of organization to practice metha-synthetic methodology and system engineering technologies, which is the key to meta-synthetic engineering. The paper then expounds the application value and significance of these advancements.
