Dear colleagues,
As of now, your NSF ENG/EEC/EngrEd program officers Matthew Verleger and Alice Pawley have both been renewed until summer 2027 🎉🎉 🎉 (and then we will both be done, if not sooner). We look forward to continuing to serve the community in the months ahead. You can email both of us through our joint mailbox at eer-programs at nsf.gov.
We have some information from NSF/ENG/EEC/Engr Ed to share with you.
1.
Thank you to all of you who have offered to serve as proposal reviewers in April-June. We will wrap up panels before ASEE for the next few weeks, and then be reaching out in late July and August for panels in August and September. To get yourself on the EEC/EngrEd reviewer listserv and be notified when we are seeking reviewers again, please send a blank email with the subject “SUBSCRIBE” to ENG-EEC-ENGRED-subscribe-request at listserv.nsf.gov<mailto:ENG-EEC-ENGRED-subscribe-request at listserv.nsf.gov> (announcement-only list, low traffic).
1.
If you had an award that was administratively terminated by NSF, and you still have funding from NSF on other awards, and you had travel funds on the administratively terminated award that were taken away from you, you may be able to apply for a supplement on your remaining award to cover that travel. Reach out to Alice or Matthew to find out more.

We are planning to be at ASEE. We have a presentation every day, grantee poster sessions, and a booth, and are hosting PI conversations. You can review our program by selecting "NSF Grantees Division" or "NSF Grantees Poster Session" in the NEMO OSL, or by visiting our dedicated page in the Engineering Education Community Resource, published here<http://engineeringeducationlist.pbworks.com/w/page/164204637/ASEE%202026%20-%20NSF%20session%20slides%20and%20handouts>.

We are hosting an EngrEd-specific CAREER webinar on June 16 from 4-5 pm ET. People can register to attend at the link below, and then you will get the calendar invite and Zoom link upon registration.

Alice will be unavailable for PI meetings between June 26-July 20, so if you are interested in meeting with a program officer before the CAREER deadline of July 22 (or to talk about any other submission), please request a meeting of Matthew through our Bookings link here<https://outlook.office.com/book/MeetwithEngineeringEducationResearchProgramOfficers2026@nsf.onmicrosoft.com/?ismsaljsauthenabled=true>. We will both be back to available after that date.
