Dear colleagues,
We invite volunteers to serve on the Awards Committee to select the winner of the 2026 INES Best Paper Prize. We hope the Committee will reflect the international and interdisciplinary nature of the International Network for Engineering Studies.

This year, the Awards Committee will evaluate excellent articles published in INES’ own Engineering Studies journal, with publication dates in 2024 and 2025. The committee will review papers in the coming months and come to a decision by October, and INES will award the prize at an online workshop in January 2027. James Trevelyan (Univ. of Western Australia) has kindly agreed to chair the Committee.

To join the Awards Committee, please email me by June 1. If you are unable to serve, please consider nominating other scholars of engineering studies who have international and interdisciplinary expertise.

Many thanks,
Caitlin (INES Chair)
